Grand Opening for The Dandelion Patch and Rooks County Bakery

The Grand Opening for the Dandelion Patch and Rooks County Bakery was held on December 4th and 5th, 2008.  The event celebrated the new location with new inventory and to top it all off, they will be BAKING.

The Dandelion Patch was formerly located a block to the east, but when the opportunity to move more into the center of town, owner Carol VanDyke jumped at the chance.   The business is located in the former Rooks County Bakery at 513 Main.  And even though the Bakery has been closed for much of the last several years, VanDyke is reviving the baking and will have a full-line of baked goods each day including fresh homestyle loaf bread, cinnamon rolls, muffins, cookies, cake, candy and much more.

The Dandelion Patch will continue with floral products, gifts, candles, and much more. And of course area deliveries are part of their service.  They are also an authorized Jims Formal Wear consultant, and can send flowers worldwide with Teleflora.
