Dessin Fournir pieces featured in new movie

If your week included the silver screen premier of the number one film in the nation, a spread on the glossy pages of a national magazine and being named one of the top 50 individuals for the future of your industry--where would you be located?

You'd be a small luxury goods firm from rural northwest Kansas.  Rooted in Rooks County, The Dessin Fournir Companies provided eight club chairs for the set of the star-studded movie, Ocean's Twelve.  Carl Reiner (Saul Bloom) is sitting in Dessin Fournir's London Club Chair during his opening scene.

Distributed the same week as the movie premier, House & Garden's January issue featured the Dessin Fournir Companies and its co-founder Chuck Comeau as one of the 50 individuals for the future of design.  The article also mentions the economic developments taking place in Plainville and downtown Hays.

Television became a part of the media mix as two Dessin Fournir tables were used for the famed holiday program of "Oprah's Favorite Things".  The Dessin Fournir Companies two retail businesses, C.S. Post & Co. of Hays and Regeena's Flowers & Events of Hays and Plainville did not go unnoticed as both were featured in the premier holiday issue of Cottage Living magazine while the website they share, www.CSPost.com, topped Country Home and Redbook magazines' lists of proven holiday favorites.
