Construction on new First State Bank building in Plainville underway

Construction is well underway on the new First State Bank building to be located at the corner of Mill and Jefferson streets in downtown Plainville.   Currently located at 200 S. Jefferson, the FSB has outgrown their facility and was looking to better meet the demands of their customers.

The new bank is located on property that was formally Saven Video, and more recently Gifts and More.   Gifts and More is now located directly west of the new bank location.

Cornerstone Building and Design is completing the construction of the building and hopes to be completed later this year.

Plainville has two other banks--Midwest Community Bank, and First National Bank.
