Rooks County Meeting Facilities

There are a number of facilities that are available in Rooks County for meetings ranging in size from 200 people to small groups of 20 or less.  Contact Economic Development Director Roger Hrabe at 785-425-6881 to investigate facilities that might meet your needs. 

Listed below are some of the facilities that are available:

  The Nova Theatre in Stockton is one of the premier facilities in Northwest Kansas.  The multi-purpose facility has been recently renovated and provides a very attractive venue for meetings, receptions, stage presentations, musical productions, and more.

The facility is completely handicapped accessible and is available for weekday events year round.

In June of 2002, the Nova Theatre hosted the Northwest Kansas Business Appreciation Dinner held annually by the Kansas Department of Commerce.  Over 200 people were in attendance for the formal dinner.

The Department of Commerce and all in attendance were overwhelming in their support for the facility.  The picture to the right shows how the room was set up for the dinner.  To reserve the facility, contact Deb at 785-425-6354 or Roger at 785-425-6881.

The Plainville VFW is available for meetings, receptions, and dinners for up to 100 people.  The VFW has full kitchen facilities, and the adjacent club allows for alcoholic beverages to be sold if requested.

The facility is generally available throughout the week and on weekends.  Contact Roger at 785-425-6881 for information.
