Palco Clinic officially open

The Palco Medical Clinic is officially open for business.  After completing a renovation of a former clinic building on Palco's Main Street, the Palco Community Development Corporation was able to celebrate by conducting a ribbon-cutting on May 15.  The ribbon-cutting was held in conjunction with the recognition of area veterans and the re-opening of the Palco Cafe.

The Palco Clinic will be staffed by doctors from the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville.  At the current time, the clinic will be staffed by Drs. Sanchez and Brull on Tuesday afternoons, and by Dr. Taylor and PA-C Julie Siefers on Thursday mornings.

Palco Community Development used local funds  to supplement community development funds from USDA Rural Development to complete the renovations.  Not only is the clinic providing a needed service to the community, but the building is a welcome improvement to the downtown business district.
