Plainville company offers business solutions

On February 19, 2004,  a ribbon-cutting was held in Plainville for Simple Business Solutions, Inc. (SBS), a diversified support company for other businesses or for individuals.  SBS offers temporary office services, data processing, accounts receivable servicing, billing, bookkeeping, and office organization.

The owners of the new business, Maria Simon and Lana Zajic, also have employed staff members Kelly Schonthaler, and Carol Murphy.

SBS also offers faxing, color copying, notary services, electronic imaging and word processing, as well as bill-pay services that can expand easily and is flexible.  "When we were doing market research, we didn't find any place that does what we do," Simon said, "because we do so many different things, not only for businesses but also for townspeople."

Lana said one of  the things the company can do for individuals is the bill-pay service.  "This would benefit the elderly or other individuals who would rather not balance their checkbooks or write out their bills.  We can do that for them, have the checks all made out and ready to sign and mail."
