Free Building Site for Residential Property in Stockton

The following real estate is available to an owner, builder or developer, free of charge, for the construction of residential housing in Stockton:

All of lots 1,3,5 and 7 in block 38 south of Main Street in the city limits of Stockton. This 100’ x 150’ building site is located at the corner of South 5th and Walnut. All utility hookups are available.

Additional incentives include an 80% discount for City sewer and water tap charges, the Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Rebate Program, and a sidewalk reimbursement program of $2 per square foot. Also this residential property could be eligible for USDA Rural Development financing.

The residential housing may be single-family or duplex. It must be new construction and on a full foundation, whether built on site or modular. No single wide mobile homes are eligible.

Construction must be completed within 12 months of the date of the agreement. A copy of the agreement "Residential Free Building Site Agreement" is available from the Stockton City Office.

This real estate will be awarded to the first approved owner, builder or developer to sign the agreement and make the $500 refundable deposit.
