November 2, 2015 — NetWork Kansas announced that Rooks County was selected as a 2015 Entrepreneurship (E-) Community and has been awarded $40,000 in tax credits, enabling the Rooks County E-Community to raise approximately $53,333 to advance and establish local Read on! →

New Rooks County jail approved by voters

Voters from Rooks County approved the sales tax question on the November 4, 2014 ballot to build a new Rooks County jail.  The uncanvassed vote total was 1,101 in favor and 863 opposed. The new jail will be built near Read on! →
