Sheriff Corrections Officer

The Rooks County Sheriff’s Office is currently taking applications for a Full-Time Corrections Officer.   Duties include but not limited to: Data Entry, managing inmates, meal preparation, janitorial duties. You must be able to work 12 hour shifts (shift rotates every four months), nights, holidays and or weekends. Starting wage is $15.00 per hour, wage may vary depending on experience. An additional $1.00 is added for night shift differential pay. Benefits include health Insurance, vacation, sick and holiday pay. Applications may be picked up at the Sheriff's Office @ 803 S.
