Last Updated 1/23/2025Posted in Economic Development Initiatives

Rooks County is a participant in a new housing program developed by the Innovation Center in Norton, to provide a source of funding in the form of forgivable loans to developers, builders, and/or homeowners to address increasing housing costs and appraisal gaps that challenge the ability of families and individuals to enjoy the opportunity of homeownership or affordable rental housing.  Funding provided by the Hansen Foundation, state of Kansas and local communities.  Go to the Innovation Center website for more information.
