Rooks County Launches Healthcare Recruitment Campaign: "The Life You've Been Looking For"

Last Updated 10/31/2025Posted in Economic Development Initiatives

Rooks County Economic Development and the Rooks County Healthcare Foundation are proud to announce the launch of a new collaborative initiative- the Rooks County Healthcare Recruitment Campaign, part of the Rural Champions Program.

The campaign seeks to promote Rooks County as a vibrant and desirable place to live, work, and raise a family. While the initial focus is on attracting healthcare professionals, the broader goal is to share the authentic stories that define rural life- community connection, meaningful work, and quality of life that's second to none.

At the heart of the campaign is a newly released countywide promotional video that captures the spirit of life in Rooks County. Through powerful storytelling and imagery, it reminds viewers that success and fulfillment aren't always found by going farther or faster- sometimes, they're found in the everyday moments that matter most.

Over the coming months, the campaign will continue to highlight the lives and careers of local healthcare professionals through feature videos, articles, and social media storytelling. Each story will offer a glimpse into what it means to live and work in a close-knit community where people care deeply about one another.

Residents and community partners are encouraged to share the campaign with friends, family, or former residents who may be ready to trade the big city life for something smaller, simpler, and more connected.
